Mosa Hope Mapheto is a strong advocate for environmental sustainability. She saw an opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment and the economy by creating a biodiesel company that could provide a renewable and eco-friendly alternative to traditional fossil fuels.

She is an LLB student, a farmer and a biodiesel manufacturer. Her biodiesel production company originates from seeing waste cooking oil being resold to low income households for consumption. She then decided to disrupt that market by taking the used cooking oil to produce biodiesel with it. To fill in the gap, she has partnered with a company that produces quality soybean oil. She sells it off to her community at a reasonable price, then later goes to buy the used oil from them. 

She has a vision of being a big supplier of biodiesel in the country and of creating more employment through a circular economy. A circular economy would be partnering with farmers to grow our sunflower, extract the oil to clean cooking oil. Sell the sunflower oil to restaurants, then collect it back as used cooking oil for biodiesel production.
